Do I need a phone line?

No. Our services are 100% independent from the phone company, and no phone line is required to use high-speed internet.

Is it secure?

Yes. Our system uses security and encryption, keeping your data safe. Wireless communications can be very secure if the proper steps are taken. If you operate a wireless router be sure to enable encryption.

Will the weather affect my connection?

No. Because you are connected to a tower wich is usually within a few miles of your location, your signal doesn't need to travel through the atmosphere like a satellite based system.

Can I use the wireless capabilities of my laptop in my house?

Yes, all you need is a wireless router.  Just make sure to enable security on the wireless network if you do use a wireless router.

Do you provide a mobile connection that I can use while travelling?

No. Our internet is a fixed connection; more like a replacement for DSL or Cable.  Mobile Internet connections are usually offered by cell phone providers, but they are usually much slower and have more restrictions about how you use the connection.

Can I use the service as a replacement for TV?

No. While occasional streaming of shows or movies is fine, the regular television programming would be very bandwidth intensive and is discouraged.
