Starwire Technologies, LLC

Effective September 3, 2026

This applies to anyone with a Starwire email account. It’s part of the Subscriber Agreement. If you have a Starwire email account but no longer get internet service from us, you’re still our customer for the email service, and the Subscriber Agreement still governs.

1. No new accounts

We don’t offer email accounts anymore and won’t create new ones, including additional accounts for people who already have one.

2. Keeping your email account, and what it costs

If you’re a current internet customer, you can keep your existing email account at no extra cost, and a larger mailbox is available for a monthly fee.

If you’re no longer an internet customer, you can keep your email account for an annual fee, billed in advance and not refundable except as described in Section 5. Larger mailboxes are also available.

Current pricing is at www.starwire.net, or just ask us.

When you hit your storage limit, incoming messages may bounce. We suggest setting your email program to download messages and remove them from the server.

3. As is, and no backups

The email service is provided “as is,” with no warranty, subject to Sections 18 and 19 of the Subscriber Agreement.

We’re not responsible for lost, deleted, undelivered, or corrupted email, whatever the cause, and we don’t keep backups of mailboxes. Don’t use a Starwire email account as the only place you keep something important, and don’t use it for financial, medical, legal, or other sensitive correspondence.

4. Inactive accounts and spam

An account that hasn’t been accessed in twelve months may be closed. We’ll email you first so you have a chance to keep it. An account used to send junk email will be closed immediately without warning.

5. Ending the email service

Your email account ends when your Service ends, unless you keep it as a paid email account under Section 2.

If we shut email down entirely. We may discontinue email service with at least ninety days’ written notice to everyone who has an email account. If you prepaid for a year, we’ll refund the unused portion proportionally. Shutting down email isn’t a material adverse change under Section 23 of the Subscriber Agreement and doesn’t give you a right to cancel internet service without an early termination fee.
